My best guess would be upto 12R is okay. Inspecting the the full size file at 100% show clearly shadow noise but tonal range should be still smooth. The mist sure lack of the kind of tone graduation you could get compare to films I guess.
What do you mean “Cheating”? Don’t quite get the point.
Yes, it works now. The program thought I was intruding I guess. The D700 looks really nice and the D90 can take video, and it seems more practical knowing my own photo habit. But I always aspire to have a pro body… I know I am irrational. And add the the Nikkors 14-24, 24-70, and 70-200, then it would be perfect.
Try the gallery view. The new highslide slideshow is good. The D700 is attractive to me not because of the pro body but the 14bit raw file and higher ISO. Both could allow me to change the level after the fact and still give good result. If I really lay my hand on a D700, i will get the 17-35 to go with the 70-200 and forget about the mid range.
I say blow it up and see how good it looks in print. Is the view EXIF data meant to be like “Cheatin’ uh?”

when I click “Click here to view EXIF data” I got “Cheatin’ un?” as the linked page. Try it yourself.

I don’t get the same link to “Cheatin’un?”. Can you see me a screen shoot or the page source to me via email?

Okay, I see why that message appears. The showmeta program is originally for administrator use only. I have changed that and it should work now.
