I am checking out the Mamiya Press Super 23 and Universal. They take Polaroid the 3.25″ x4.25″ type of film with full image size. Plus the Super 23 has a bellow back meaning you can control the perspective although with limited movement.
Man, it’s all your fault. I am taking a time machine getting all the stuff that was there around the time I was born. ha ha. I spent $10 every time I develop, proof and scan my 120 roll film. I guess I can do the math to figure out when that will reach $2800 for a D700. Never mind, I am not going to do the math. Last week, I sent my some proof to my Mom, she was happy to see the actual pictures.
The develop and print cost is high . That’s why digital rules especially for helping to learn. You don’t need to worry about the cost after you get your camera and lens. Just try out different setting and shoot to see which one is good.
The $10 actually isn’t all that bad, it can get expensive if I were to scan at a higher resolution, my scan is only at 2610×2610. For some reason those two old cameras give me motivation to shoot so that help me in that respect. I am sure if I got a D700 I will get the motivation to shoot too. How much is the D700 selling in HK or China?
This is some serious blue sky.
