Nikon got its rebate program in US and Japan for D700. It’s a shame that store in HK still keep the D700 at a relative high price. Anyway, the financial tsunami is really hitting the lens sales in HK. The 70-200 F/2.8 and 24-70 F/2.8 is readily available everywhere in HK now.

It is really a shame for HK that most shops still price the D700 about USD150 more expensive than the US. What the hell happens to the “shopping paradise”? Why would tourist come to HK to do some shopping if they could get the thing cheaper at home? And our service level in HK really sucks too.
