The uneven lighting is dramatic on the terrace fields as the sun is overcasted by clouds.
The reflection of the sky and morning sun on the water in the terrace field is just magnificent. Together with the lines of the dikes, they provided a beautiful backdrops for this photo of a peasant walking along the dike to the field he needs to start working on.
Duo Yi Shu is the most popular location in Yuan Yang for looking at sunrise. It is quite obvious from this photo that the large terrace fields, that reflects lights from the clouds and sky above, are showing dramatic color that is changing rapidly during sunrise time.
